Malilangwe: Schools and Bursaries


			Schools & Bursaries The Schools program not only includes the construction of school blocks in the surrounding communities and electrification of numerous schools, but also awarding bursaries to children to continue their education. Over 300 bursaries are awarded per year to deserving children to continue their education through primary school to tertiary level. To date this equates to over 3 700 years worth of education awarded by the Malilangwe Trust The school activities which Malilangwe support also include the supply of textbooks, stationary, furniture, sporting equipment and other supplies much appreciated by teaches and pupils alike.
	The Malilangwe Trust offers environmental and educational camps for schools visiting the Estate, staying at Hakamela Camp. Here pupils are able to experience and learn about wildlife, thereby developing an understanding and respect for wildlife that can only be mutually beneficial in the future.
