San Rock Art
Malilangwe is rich with the ancient creations of the San Bushmen. The Reserve boasts more than 100 known rock art sites which date back over 2000 years. Most of these valuable sites depict scenes of ‘hunter and hunted’ and are a source of fascination. It is of National importance that these priceless historic sites are preserved and protected. Malilangwe has long been recognised as one of the most richly endowed properties in Africa. The Trust will be investing further into studying these San Rock Art sites, and are considering the construction of a Shangaan museum.
